How Business Innovation is Shaping the Future of Foreign Aid

Business is at the heart of almost every social enterprise and should be at the heart of every foreign aid project. – it builds infrastructure, employs teachers, creates local job opportunities through trade and tourism, and it can create innovation, such as the materials we use for building. Where local government does not always have the means, business can fill in the gaps, presenting opportunities for workers and investors to work together to achieve something meaningful. Leadership in the sector can create change very rapidly, but there needs to be the will and there needs to be vision.
